This is Belvedere. He arrived in my life when a neighbor adopted him and left him outside, at the mercy of the Florida heat and the other cats on the street. A group of us neighbors decided to start taking care of him. Morning coffee, feed Belvedere.  Hanging out, cat napping next to you. Yesterday, he didn’t show up to the routine. I was coming home through my back door when I found him lying in a bit of grass not far from my door. I picked him up and brought him inside. He sat down just where I put him, which would never normally happen with this adventurous little guy. I tried to give him food and water because I realized that something was seriously wrong. When attempting to walk, he drags his back legs along and moves very slowly with a hunched back. We think he was hit by a car and we think that his hips and some ribs are broken. He is in so much pain. We don’t have any money to take him to the vet. I really don’t want to put my little buddy down. Please, help us try and get him healthy.
